The most important benefit of setting goals isn’t achieving your goal…it’s what you do and the person you become in order to achieve your goal that’s the real benefit.
In setting goals we usually do so with great enthusiasm and optimism.
Sometimes it’s a New Year’s resolution.
So what is yours going to be this year?
Smart goals are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound.
The best way to achieve this is to have clarity!
If you’re not clear on what you’re doing, it’s hard to be motivated.
Find clarity by doing the following:
Embrace the unknown
Bill Walsh, former head coach of the San Francisco 49ers says, “If your why is strong enough, you will figure out how!”
Find clarity quickly
This does not mean you have to figure out everything you are going to do.
